I replicated Anthropic's Generator-Evaluator harness to build a website through 12 adversarial AI iterations - here's the result and what I learned

Anthropic recently published their [harness design for long-running apps](https://www.anthropic.com/engineering/harness-design-long-running-apps) — a multi-agent architecture inspired by GANs where a Generator builds code and an Evaluator critiques it in a loop. I built my own version using Kiro CLI and used it to generate a marketing website for my project [Mnemo](https://github.com/Mnemo-mcp/Mnemo) (persistent memory for AI coding agents). **The architecture:** Planner (runs once) → Generator ↔ Evaluator (12 iterations) Each agent is a separate CLI process with zero shared context. Th...

Elite researchers teamed up with Anthropic’s Mythos AI to smash Apple’s multi-billion dollar M5 security and build a kernel exploit in just 5 days.

Researchers used Mythos Preview to find the first public macOS kernel memory corruption exploit on Apple's M5 silicon, they give a glimpse into Mythos say it’s really powerful. Apple spent five years and an estimated several billion dollars building Memory Integrity Enforcement (MIE), the hardware-assisted memory safety system built around ARM's MTE. It was the flagship security feature of the M5 and A19, designed specifically to kill the entire memory corruption bug class. Researchers from Calif built a working exploit in five days. According to Apple's own research, MIE disrupts every pu...

Dear Anthropic.. stop being cheap

I've been a power users since day 1... I'm getting really fucking tired of forcing claude code to read the code.. more and more it's difficult /effort max.. read each line.. your fucking harness is skimming.. It's fucking bullshit.. because I get a shitty result.. then spend 2X the context fixing it.. stop trying to cheat by cheapening.. it's pissing off your users.

Claude is telling users to go to sleep mid-session and nobody, including Anthropic, seems to fully understand why it keeps doing it

Anthropic’s Claude is telling people to go to sleep and users can’t figure out why. A quick [scan of Reddit](https://www.reddit.com/r/ClaudeAI/comments/1ruryxo/claude_decided_i_need_a_bedtime_apparently/) reveals that hundreds of people have had the same issue dating back months—and as recently as Wednesday. Claude’s sleep demands are varied and, often, quirky variations of the same message. To one user it may write a simple “get some rest,” yet for others its messages are [more personalized](https://www.reddit.com/r/claudexplorers/comments/1rugx4b/opus_obsessed_about_sending_me_to_sleep/) ...

OpenAI’s Codex is now in the ChatGPT mobile app

OpenAI is going to let users access Codex, its desktop AI tool that can write code and use apps on your computer, from the ChatGPT app on your phone. Following the surge in popularity for Anthropic's Claude Code, OpenAI has been working quickly to try and catch up, including by cutting back on "side quests," shutting down projects like the Sora video-generation tool, and focusing on growing its enterprise business. The company's push included the recently released major update for Codex that lets it operate apps on macOS - a potentially major step as part of its ambitions to make a desktop "s...

Microsoft starts canceling Claude Code licenses

Microsoft first started opening up access to Claude Code in December, inviting thousands of its own developers to use Anthropic's AI coding tool daily. It was part of an effort to get project managers, designers, and other employees to experiment with coding for the first time, and sources tell me that Claude Code has proved very popular inside Microsoft over the past six months. Perhaps a little too popular, as Microsoft is now preparing to walk back its Claude Code push. I understand that Microsoft is planning to remove most of its Claude Code licenses and push many of its developers to use...

"Maybe me too": Elon Musk accepts some of the blame for Claude learning to blackmail users from "evil" online AI stories

Anthropic has released new findings on why its Claude bot blackmailed users as part of an experiment conducted by the AI company last year—and Elon Musk is jumping in to take some of the blame. Last week, Anthropic published a report saying it had fixed Claude’s “agentic misalignment,” or AI actions that deviate from intended behaviors, including ones that may harm humanity. A case study Anthropic conducted last year created a fictional company called Summit Bridge, and Claude was given control of the firm’s email system. When the bot found a message about plans to be shut down, it identif...
